Job Summary
Safely operate company buses to transport employees to and from parking areas to onsite work locations while conducting pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections. Maintain clean, safe, and orderly buses while following DOT, company, and site-specific safety requirements. Assist with general labor and site support activities including survey and layout support, material staging, pile and foundation work, tracker system installation, and mechanical assembly. Perform material handling, loading, and unloading duties alongside crews, setting up barricades and signage as needed. This outdoor role requires working in all weather conditions and lifting 50+ pounds. Candidates must hold a valid CDL Class A or B with Passenger Endorsement and possess a minimum of one year of commercial driving or construction site experience.
Required Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A or B with Passenger Endorsement
- Acceptable driving record per company and DOT standards
- Ability to lift, carry, and move 50+ pounds
- Able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and perform repetitive physical tasks
- Ability to follow instructions, procedures, and safety rules
- Dependable, punctual, and professional
- Ability to operate a bus in active construction environments
- This position requires working outdoors in various, often extreme weather conditions including rain, snow, heat, cold, etc.
- Candidates must be able to work in all weather conditions, as safety permits.
