Bus Driver (Contracted with Benefits for the 2026-2027 School Year)

Transport students safely and efficiently to and from school on a daily basis while operating all vehicle types used in transporting students. Comply with Motor Vehicle Laws and State Board of Education Regulations, including stopping in the right-hand lane for pickup and discharge only where the bus is visible from both directions. Perform daily pre-trip inspections, report needed repairs, and maintain discipline by reporting cases of disobedience to the principal. Exercise every possible care for pupil safety, ensuring no one rides on the outside or with limbs out of windows, and stop fully at railroad crossings to verify safety. Manage breakdowns by placing flags and flares, notifying authorities, and keeping pupils in the bus until repaired or transferred. Maintain discipline regarding language and conduct, and attend all required meetings and training sessions. This 182-day contract includes a bonus after successful completion of CDL licensure and six months of service.
