Job Summary
Provide scheduled transportation for residents from Tuesday to Saturday between 8:30pm and 5pm. Perform daily pre-trip vehicle inspections, arrange regular maintenance, and maintain cleanliness of the interior and exterior. Stock and maintain the first aid kit while keeping on-board emergency information sheets current. Report any vehicle concerns to the Life Enrichment Director and Executive Director. Hold a "C" level commercial driver's license with no violations and possess a valid CPR/First Aid certificate. Previous experience working with the elderly is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- "C" level commercial driver's license with no violations on record
- Ability to drive for extended periods of time, up to 2 hours
- Ability to read, write and speak English
- Valid CPR/First Aid certificate (Chateau will pay for training if not certified)
- Certified Nursing Assistant or Home Care Aid (Chateau will pay for training if not certified)
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience working with the elderly preferred
