Bus Driver

Conduct daily student transportation to and from schools, residential neighborhoods, and field trips under the supervision of the Director of Transportation. Execute emergency evacuation simulations including front door and rear exit drills, ensuring no students remain on the bus during each test. Demonstrate rapid alternation between throttle and service brake, maintain constant unassisted brake pressure for 60 seconds, and safely move individuals using a weighted bag pull test. Travel to district buildings, service stations, and other destinations as required. Hold a valid Motor Vehicle Operator's License with no more than four points on the driving record and obtain a Commercial Driver's License. Pass physical, drug, state skill, and written tests. Nonexempt FLSA status applies.
