Job Summary
Safely transport students to and from school on designated routes while maintaining a clean, tidy bus interior. Load and unload students at stops, ensuring their well-being and adhering to traffic laws. Respond promptly to maintenance requests and communicate safety concerns to the Principal. Collaborate with colleagues to coordinate staff and student excursions. Maintain grounds to a safe standard and ensure the school meets regulatory standards. Foster a positive atmosphere by modeling the school's Christian values and promoting a child-safe environment. Adhere to the allocated schedule and participate in required child safety training.
Required Qualifications
- Evidence of the right to work in Australia
- Proof of identity
- Appropriate driver licence with minimum MR licence
- Clearance status of the Working with Children Check
- References from any previous child-connected roles
- Have suitable qualifications and/or experience in maintenance / transport
- Be a committed Christian, comfortable with sharing your faith
- Relate well to staff, students and parents
- Have a servant heart
