Job Summary
Provide transportation services to and from appointments and activities for residents using ramps, wheelchair tie downs, and lifts. Maintain a safe, secure, and engaging atmosphere while demonstrating C.A.R.E. values of compassion, accountability, relationships, and excellence. Work toward a common goal of excellent care within a supportive team environment. Requires a valid CDL license for communities carrying 15 or more passengers, a current operator's license, and a high school diploma or equivalent. Required Qualifications
- Stamina, strength and endurance to safely transport residents in and out of the vehicle utilizing ramps, wheelchair tie downs and lifts
- Ability to provide safe and secure travel for our residents
- Create a comforting, calm and engaging atmosphere for our residents
- The ability to work towards a common goal of excellent care for our residents
- Demonstrates C.A.R.E. values to our residents, family members, customers and staff
- Must be 25 years of age or older
- Compassion, Accountability, Relationships and Excellence
- Valid CDL license required for communities that have a bus that carries 15 or more passengers
- Good standing and current Operator's License
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
