Job Summary
Drive a vehicle, following all traffic laws to prevent accidents, incidents, or passenger injuries while safely operating in all weather and road conditions. Issue day passes for passengers, track passenger counts and types, and complete daily pre/post-trip vehicle inspections. Report all vehicle or equipment defects to the appropriate person promptly and provide limited assistance to persons with disabilities. Work 6:00 am to 7:00 pm Monday through Saturday with varying days off, reporting absences according to policy. Maintain a valid Texas driver's license or Commercial Driver's License with a P endorsement, pass a DOT physical, and possess three years of driving experience.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or its equivalent
- minimum of three (3) years of driving experience
- valid Texas driver's license or a Commercial Driver's License with a P endorsement or be willing to obtain your CDL with a P endorsement
- If holding a CDL without the P endorsement, this must be obtained before orientation
- Must be able to pass a standard Department of Transportation (DOT) physical
