Job Summary
Operate a school bus on designated routes to transport students to and from school, events, and field trips. Perform daily vehicle inspections and basic maintenance, assist in loading/unloading disabled students, maintain order and safety, report incidents, and communicate via two-way radio. Complete safety training and drills, adhere to district policies, and transport students under varying conditions with a focus on safety and timeliness.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid Class B CDL with passenger and school bus endorsements
- DOT physical
- criminal record check
- drug and alcohol testing (if applicable)
