Job Summary
Conduct daily bus operations by maintaining assigned schedules, checking vehicles for mechanical defects before and after each trip, and discharging students only at authorized stops. Enforce safety regulations, discipline, and district policies regarding smoking and eating while transporting authorized students. Report accidents, mechanical failures, lateness, and any conditions jeopardizing safe transportation to the proper authority. Submit required time, mileage, and route reports as requested by the supervisor. Complete a full application packet including references and license documentation before the posted deadline.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or high school equivalent
- Bus Driver's license / CDL license
- SLED/criminal background review
- Classified Employment Application
- Three (3) Classified Employment References
- Copy of High School Diploma/Transcript or High School Equivalent
- Copy of CDL/Bus Driver's License
- Negative TB test result
