Job Summary
Transport medically stable clients to and from medical appointments, leisure activities, and home following a pre-planned route and defined time schedule. Ensure client safety and comfort during onboarding, transportation, and offboarding while maintaining professional, ethical, and safe standards in compliance with Traffic Regulations. Complete various forms and records, including updated route sheets, time sheets, and incident and accident reports. Work the 0800-1615 shift at the Dr. Vernon Fanning Centre, Dr. Vernon Fanning Centre, Transport Client Van Ops BW.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from Grade 12
- Valid Alberta class 2-4 drivers' license
- Clean drivers abstract
- Excellent communication skills
- Professional demeanor
- High attention to detail
- Initiative
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
Desired Qualifications
- First Aid
- Minimum 5 years of professional driving a bus or large vehicle
- Training in Q'Strain – 4 Point Securement Systems
- Experience in a health care environment
