Job Summary
Drives bus to transport passengers on defined routes according to a time schedule, including transporting students with developmental disabilities to and from homes/schools within Stark County. Performs pre/post-trip inspections, maintains safety equipment and records, and completes incident/documentation reports. Must hold an Ohio CDL with School Bus Endorsement, maintain a clean driving record, complete CPR/First Aid and Crisis Prevention Training, and comply with DOT drug testing. Canton, OH.
Required Qualifications
- Must meet the minimum physical requirements as stipulated by the State of Ohio, including successful completion of annual T-8 Physical Examination.
- Must maintain a valid Ohio Commercial Driver’s License with School Bus Endorsement, and possess a driving abstract reflecting less than six (6) points.
- Must pursue and maintain CPR/First Aid certifications, and Crisis Prevention Training.
- Subject to random drug testing per the Department of Transportation requirements.
