Job Summary
Develop and maintain relationships with municipalities, consulting engineers, water authorities, and industry stakeholders to identify and pursue elevated water storage tank project opportunities. Review project plans, specifications, and bid documents while collaborating with estimating, engineering, and leadership to support sales strategy. Conduct customer visits, presentations, and industry events, representing Phoenix professionally within organizations like AWWA and STI/SPFA. Track opportunities in CRM systems, monitor market conditions and competitor activity, and assist in developing marketing materials. Travel regularly through assigned territories and participate in internal strategic planning meetings. Bachelor's degree preferred with experience in water infrastructure or heavy civil construction.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred
- Experience in elevated water storage tanks, water infrastructure, heavy civil construction, vertical concrete, or structural steel construction strongly preferred
- Strong understanding of construction methods, project development, and technical specifications
- Ability to read and interpret plans, specifications, and bid documents
- Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
- Willingness and ability to travel regularly
- Strong organization skills and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- Proficiency with MS Office and CRM software platforms
- Self-motivated with strong initiative and professionalism
- Available during traditional and non-traditional hours (40 plus per week)
