Job Summary
Open the gates to the bus lot, check parking areas, and re-position vehicles to ensure timely dispatch. Dispense fuel, check oil levels, and maintain accurate stick and meter readings for all school, activity, and commercial buses. Perform light interior and exterior maintenance, including filling fluids and belts, while completing required reports such as the Bulk Fuel Receiving Report and Meter Calibration Report. Notify the Location Manager when fuel delivery is needed and ensure accurate readings are taken before and after delivery. Coordinate bus flow to ensure safe operation and execute any other management directives.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Knowledge of bus maintenance
- Ability to learn maintenance skills
- Subject to background check
