Job Summary
The Bus Cleaner is primarily responsible for performing janitorial services for Sun Metro buses, which includes cleaning interior windows, picking up trash, sweeping and mopping buses, and utilizing cleaning chemicals. This role requires the ability to work various hours, maintain adequate supplies, and demonstrate good work habits. Candidates must have a high school diploma and at least one year of janitorial experience.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to mobilize (walk and stand) at least 6 hours per day
- Knowledge of proper utilization of janitorial equipment
- Ability to relate fact-based observations verbally and in writing
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to work in outdoor weather
- Ability to work non-regular hours (6:00 PM – 2:30 AM)
Desired Qualifications
- One year of custodian/janitorial work
