Job Summary
Facilitate the transfer of children from schools to buses and back to guardians while maintaining order and emphasizing safety. Ensure all students are secured in seat belts during vehicle operation and account for every student on the roster. Report all incidents of misconduct in a timely manner and maintain accurate attendance records. Act in a professional and courteous manner at all times. This part-time role involves approximately 24-29 hours per week, Monday through Friday from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM, at SPORTIME Randall's Island.
Required Qualifications
- Common sense approach
- A track record or working with children
- Must have a warm, approachable personality
- Very good communication skills
- Ability to command the respect as an adult figure to the junior members
- Part-time, approximately 24 -29 hours per week
- Monday - Friday 1:00pm-6:00pm
