Job Summary
Administer first aid, assist bus drivers with work activities, and monitor students on and around buses to ensure safety and welfare. Secure students and equipment with restraints, assist with personal care requirements, and prepare incident reports documenting activities. Report observations regarding discipline, accidents, and rule violations to appropriate school personnel. Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Support Services. This ten-month part-time role requires a high school graduate with a valid Arizona driver's license and a clean driving record.
Required Qualifications
- High school graduate, GED and/or equivalent work experience
- Must possess a valid Arizona Driver's License
- Successful driving record for the past three years with no DUI convictions
- Ability to maintain appropriate interpersonal relations with students, parents and others of the district
- Ability to pass an annual drug test and additional drug tests as appropriate
