Job Summary
The Bus Attendant supports student safety during school transportation, assisting students on/off the bus, and collaborating with the bus driver to maintain order and bus cleanliness. Requires lifting up to 125 pounds, ability to load/unload and secure wheelchairs, and CPR/first aid readiness. Must pass a physical agility test and complete district training; high school diploma or GED is required. Part-time substitute role with a flexible schedule and responsibilities including monitoring student conduct and using district technologies as directed by leadership. Arizona DPS Level One IVP Fingerprint Clearance is required for employment; RS/OD training as needed.
