Bus Assistant

Assist the Bus Driver in transporting children safely by supervising all students to ensure no child is left unsupervised and following procedures for safe loading and unloading. Ensure correct children enter and exit, verify all occupants are buckled in, and maintain strict vehicle capacity limits while keeping the bus clean. Monitor behavior, set limits, and facilitate educational activities through singing and talking, applying positive behavioral philosophies to reduce conflicts. Manage medication storage and transport, assist families with authorization forms, and maintain daily communication with parents by delivering notes and messages. Complete required paperwork and documentation throughout the shift.
