Bus Assistant

Assist the Bus Driver in transporting children safely by supervising passengers to ensure no child is left alone, managing safe loading and unloading, and verifying correct entry and exit. Ensure all children, parents, and staff are properly seated and buckled, keep belongings secured, and maintain strict vehicle capacity limits while keeping the bus clean. Monitor behavior by applying positive discipline philosophies, engaging children in educational activities, and providing relief on hot days. Follow medication procedures for storage, transport, and authorization forms, and complete required paperwork and documentation. Facilitate communication with parents by delivering messages and relaying information.
