Job Summary
Bus Aide provides safety and supervision for students during transportation. Responsibilities include assisting students boarding and exiting the bus, supervising during transport to maintain a safe and orderly environment, supporting students with special needs as required, assisting the driver with student safety and behavior, and communicating effectively with students and staff. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent (preferred), valid Ohio Educational Aide Permit (or ability to obtain), and background checks (BCI and FBI). Applicant must be able to meet transportation requirements and work as part of a team.
Required Qualifications

- Valid Ohio Educational Aide Permit (or ability to obtain)
- Background checks (BCI and FBI)
- Ability to meet state and district transportation requirements
- Experience working with children preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work as part of a team
