Provide on-site, in-person Burmese language interpretation for diverse settings including medical, social work, education, and workplace. Serve as a liaison using the client’s preferred language, and interpret accurately for the setting and audience while complying with privacy and confidentiality laws (HIPAA). Independent contractor role; vendor relationship rather than employee. Must live within commuting distance of Fort Wayne, IN.
Required Qualifications
- Interpreting experience
- Minimum of 3 years interpreting experience
- Minimum of 2 years medical interpreting experience (preferred)
- Interpreting certifications (preferred)
- Must be located in or near Fort Wayne
