Job Summary
Burkle Technician Assistant supports Burkle line operations by moving materials from production lines to work-in-progress areas, performing lift truck checks, documenting process settings, printing/relocating/issuing pallets via USF2, assisting with tank farm drums/totes, operating a crane for the Hoover Tank Farm, restocking totes of topcoat chemistry, performing quality inspections (Black Box inspections) on pallets, aiding in-line feed/infeed/outfeed conveyor duties, troubleshooting robot suction cups, conducting inventory cycle counts, housekeeping, maintaining PPE stocks, changing lift truck batteries, and performing duties during scheduled shifts with overtime as required. Cross-training to cover Burkle technician tasks and operating floor equipment (conveyors, UV lamp maintenance, etc.) is expected; emphasis on safety, process compliance, and collaboration with Burkle technicians to ensure smooth production flow.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to operate a lift truck once trained
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted
- Must have basic reading, writing, and math skills
- Must be familiar with or willing to learn current computer systems and software
- Must be able to mount and dismount lift truck up to 100 times a day
