Job Summary
Manage overall day-to-day operations and profitability of a Burger King location within a travel plaza, leading a dedicated team to exceed sales, speed of service, and food safety metrics. Maintain operating budgets, inventory controls, and labor costs while ensuring consistent brand standards. Recruit, train, and manage staff through hiring, coaching, and disciplinary actions, while resolving customer complaints and enforcing cash handling policies. Collaborate with support partners including Finance, HR, and Facilities to maintain compliance with local, state, and federal laws. Work a flexible on-site schedule of approximately 50 hours per week including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education development (GED) equivalent
- 2+ years of experience as a supervisor or unit-level manager in a quick service restaurant
- Available to work a flexible on-site schedule approximately 50 hours per week including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
- Maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality, with or without reasonable accommodation
- Able to stand and walk for an extended period of time; frequently bend, twist, lift and carry at least 20 pounds
- Occasionally attend meetings or travel to support other locations
