Job Summary
Seasonal bunkhouse leadership role at Grace Adventures overseeing the care and spiritual development of campers. Responsibilities include leading cabin Bible study, teaching Paradise Ranch curriculum, supervising campers physically, emotionally, and spiritually, conducting one-on-one check-ins with campers, attending all ranch activities, meals, and staff meetings, ensuring safety and positive, creative environments, handling paperwork, and supporting riding/instructor duties; housing and meals provided throughout the contract.
Required Qualifications
- Have a personal growing relationship with Jesus Christ
- Knowledge of and love for God’s Word
- Love for kids and ability to communicate with them
- Good health and stamina as required to implement a summer camp program.
- Experience in teaching kids
- Willingness to participate in camp activities
- Minimum age 18 years old
- Education required: High School Degree or equivalent
- Must be familiar with and adhere to CHA standards for group riding programs.
- Must demonstrate ability to teach his or her assigned Paradise Ranch riding level(s).
- Should be an experienced rider (equivalent to CHA level 3).
- Must be able to handle both kids and horses in a safe, fun, and educational way.
