Job Summary
Conduct active brokering and trading on behalf of clients to secure optimum rates while managing your own profit and loss. Prepare quotations, sales confirmations, and contracts; monitor customer payments and chase late accounts. Manage claims and assist with legal actions involving customers or suppliers. Develop new business through cold canvassing and personal relationships, ensuring continued patronage from both customers and local suppliers. Research global market demands and opportunities to expand the business. Maintain CRM systems with strong administrative and negotiation skills. Work outside normal hours as needed to support global operations.
Required Qualifications

- degree qualification or equivalent in Shipping
- previous experience in a Bunker Trader position with an International Bunker Trading Company or a Physical Supplied

- excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- good sales technique
- strong negotiation skills
- good understanding of the shipping industry
- able to work as part of a team
