Job Summary
Bunker Trader responsible for executing bunker fuel trades, negotiating terms with suppliers and customers, managing relationships with bunker suppliers and shipping clients, monitoring global bunker fuel market trends, and coordinating logistics and delivery schedules. Role requires compliance with relevant regulations, data-driven analysis to identify opportunities and optimize trading strategies, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced shipping environment. Proficient in trading platforms and Microsoft Office, with strong negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Maritime Studies, or related field
- Minimum 1 years of experience in bunker trading or related marine or shipping business development
- Strong negotiation and communication skills
- Deep understanding of shipping or bunker fuel markets, pricing, and regulations
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Proficiency in relevant trading platforms and Microsoft Office
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as part of a team
