Job Summary
Works from rolling schedules and SAP to configure bundle size, gauge, and length. Sets up and operates bundling equipment and strapping machines to produce bundles per production planning. Uses SAP and printers to generate bar code tags, operates stud welders to attach tags, and directs finished bundles to warehouse-designated areas. Performs gauge checks with a micrometer on each bundle, identifies non-conforming items, and completes operating and quality reports. Maintains adequate supply of banding and other required materials. Requires full-time, predictable onsite attendance per posted schedule.
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree
- at least 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
- Completion of military service
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
