Job Summary
Operate Buncher 2 to create cabled multi-wire assemblies, set up and operate the buncher, ensure correct wire sizes/lengths and lay directions, load/unload bobbins and reels, perform pay-off changes and take-up reel changes, maintain a layer wound package, and manage scrap disposal. Perform quality checks per ISO procedures, follow safety rules, wear required PPE, maintain 5S standards, and complete basic housekeeping. May be required to cross-train on equipment within the workgroup and rotate as needed; may assist with defect investigations and support more complex tasks upon training. Strong communication with supervisor/peers and adherence to environmental and safety guidelines are essential.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must read, write, and speak English; Bilingual in Spanish is a plus
- Must be able to stand and lift heavy loads for long periods of time
- Must be able to lift up to 45 lbs
- Must be able to work under supervision and maintain ongoing communication with the supervisor and peers through verbal instruction and reports
- Cross TRAINING: Will be required to cross-train on equipment within your identified workgroup at your facility
