Job Summary
Bulk Plant Operator responsible for blending and loading cement, chemicals, and/or acid and for maintaining the bulk plant and chemical inventory. Responsibilities include reviewing job proposals, calculating blends, monitoring pneumatic pressure and flow between tanks, loading blended materials to bulk trucks for transport, maintaining accurate inventory and paperwork, operating pallet jacks and forklifts, performing maintenance on bulk-plant equipment, assisting with driving bulk trucks and acid transports, and adhering to safety standards and weekly safety meetings. Requires strong math skills to calculate ratios, percentages, and volumes, and familiarity with MSDS/TDG/PPE. High school diploma or equivalent preferred; Class 5 license and teamwork mindset are important. Required Qualifications
- Previous or relevant bulk plant experience strongly preferred
- Class 5 driver’s license with a clean abstract
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Familiarity with MSDS, TDG, and PPE
