Job Summary
Create and process sales orders quickly and accurately while purchasing items from suppliers to fulfill high-value customer orders. Maintain high standards of accuracy during rapid order cycles, identifying potential delays early and collaborating with sales, fulfillment, and supplier partners to resolve issues before impacting customers. Update workflow processes, train others, and actively participate in continuous improvement efforts. Work independently in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, utilizing Microsoft Office 365 tools and ERP systems to manage time-sensitive tasks. Requires 40 hours per week in-person attendance, with overtime during peak seasons.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- 1-3 years of experience in order entry/management, purchasing, or customer service in a high-volume environment
- Proficient with Microsoft Office 365 tools including Outlook, Excel, and Teams or other collaborative communication platform
- Working knowledge of ERP systems
- Speed and accuracy in data entry
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think and act quickly to provide timely resolution to issues
- Ability to read and interpret order requests and other written instructions
- Ability to work overtime during peak season periods
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Attention to detail and accuracy and commitment to quality
- Ability to kneel, squat, bend and lift up to 40 pounds
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time
- In-person attendance is generally expected 40 hours per week
