Job Summary
Stock shelves and coolers in local stores while delivering beer and non-alcoholic drinks to customers. Collect payments, manage change, and record transactions on receipts. Maintain a clean truck and perform routine pre- and post-trip inspections. Place stock on racks, set up displays, and issue point-of-sale materials. Resolve service complaints and inform customers of new products. Obtain customer signatures for pickups and collect empty containers of rejected merchandise. Ride along with partners to obtain your Class A CDL license through our school. Work outdoors in extreme cold temperatures, lifting up to 50 pounds and pushing loads up to 100 yards. Stand for six hours and walk four miles daily.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED
- Valid AZ driver's license with acceptable driving record
- Must be 20 years of age
- Must be eligible to work in the United States
- Ability to repetitively lift, carry, and position objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance
- Ability to repetitively push and pull objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance while kneeling; squatting; reaching above the head; reaching at the waist; reaching below the knees; and bending at the knees
- Ability to repetitively push and pull manual transport equipment (for example, pallet jack, hand truck) containing product loads a minimum of 100 yards without assistance
- Ability to repetitively grasp and manipulate objects of varying size and weight requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination
- Ability to exert oneself physically over sustained periods of time to complete job activities
- Ability to read information in small, medium, and large print
- Ability to stand a minimum of 6 hours during the workday
- Ability to walk a minimum of 4 miles during the workday
- Must study for and successfully pass CDL permit test prior to logging hours toward obtaining Class A CDL license
Desired Qualifications
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
- Must be able to write simple correspondence
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, and other employees of the organization
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
