Job Summary
Operate material handling equipment independently and within a team to move products to supply department needs. Organize and maintain materials and components in storage or staging areas while adhering to Standard Operating Procedures, Good Manufacturing Practices, and safety rules. Dispose of cardboard boxes and garbage, and perform other duties as assigned. Must be able to lift 50lbs and work in a physically challenging environment involving bending, twisting, and standing for up to 8 hours. Bi-lingual status is a plus, with prior manufacturing or packaging experience preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Must comply with GMP requirements
- Must be able to read, write and understand English
- Must be able to lift 50lbs
- Must be able to successfully clear drug screening processes
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalency preferred
- Bi-lingual is a plus
- Prior manufacturing or packaging experience preferred
- Proficient computer skills and strong math skills (addition, subtraction, percentages, averages)
- Ability to write simple correspondence in English
- Ability to work in a physically challenging environment, including bending, twisting, and standing for up to 8 hours
