Job Summary
Oversee the maintenance, packing, and stocking of all bulk foods, ensuring proper scaling, bin filling, and accurate pricing. Manage inventory rotation, sanitation compliance, and safety regulations while communicating standards and product knowledge to the team. Recruit, hire, and coach staff, making promotion decisions and addressing performance concerns through corrective actions. Create and adjust staffing schedules to maximize productivity, serving as a Key Carrier or Manager on Duty as needed. Engage customers to support healthy choices and ensure the department remains clean and orderly.
Required Qualifications
- At least 18 years of age
- 1-2 years of experience in a retail grocery environment
- 1 year of managerial leadership experience
- Ability to work flexible schedule that changes; including night, weekends, and holidays
- Working knowledge of personnel reports, margin reports, weekly sales numbers, and financial goals
- Outgoing and friendly behavior along with a positive attitude towards Team Members and customers
- Ability to move vertically/horizontally transferring product weighing up to 50 lbs., from 4" to 36", for a distance up to 4 feet for up to 15 hours without mechanical assistance
- Ability to perform other related duties as assigned
