Job Summary
Oversee the maintenance, packing, and stocking of all bulk foods, ensuring proper packaging, scaling, and accurate pricing of bulk items. Order and maintain inventory while rotating products by code dates and adhering to cleaning and sanitation standards. Communicate standards, expectations, and product knowledge to team members, engage in coaching and performance reviews, and recruit, hire, and make promotion decisions. Address team concerns, document corrective actions, and adjust schedules to ensure maximum productivity. Serve as a Key Carrier or Manager on Duty as needed. This role requires flexible scheduling including nights, weekends, and holidays, with physical demands involving lifting up to 50 lbs. Required Qualifications
- At least 18 years of age
- 1-2 years of experience in a retail grocery environment
- 1 year of managerial leadership experience
- Ability to work flexible schedule that changes; including night, weekends, and holidays
- Working knowledge of personnel reports, margin reports, weekly sales numbers, and financial goals
- Outgoing and friendly behavior along with a positive attitude towards Team Members and customers
- Ability to move vertically/horizontally transferring product weighing up to 50 lbs., from 4" to 36", for a distance up to 4 feet for up to 15 hours without mechanical assistance
- Ability to perform other related duties as assigned
