Job Summary

Ensure proper material and weight is loaded for each shipment by inspecting truck trailers and railcars for contaminants before loading. Maintain a smooth flow of truck and rail traffic while unloading fuel cars, completing daily equipment check reports, and billing for shipments. Distribute different product types into appropriate trucks and rail cars, monitor silo inventory, and assist with training new employees or equipment. Perform kiln outage work, clean bins and conveyers, and observe conditions that could lead to equipment failure. Operate heavy equipment including shuttle wagons and forklifts while adhering to lock out tag out procedures and safety rules. Work shift work seven days a week including holidays, tolerating severe weather and industrial conditions.

Required Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
Industrial background
Must be able perform basic mathematical computations
Must be able to work shift work, seven days a week including holidays and be flexible to schedule changes
Must have a telephone and be open to call-outs
Must be able to multi-task and be calm under pressure
Good decision making skills regarding safety
