Job Summary
Follow all State & Federal motor carrier laws and printed delivery tickets to transport feed from farms to correct locations, ensuring the right house and bin are serviced. Perform daily pre- and post-trip inspections, checking fluid levels, fuel, and hydraulic systems; document all hazards or defects for truck shop repair. Complete spill reports for busted hydraulic lines and turn them to the dispatcher. Maintain a Class A commercial driver's license and DOT medical card while working the night shift.
Required Qualifications
- Night shift
- Follow all State & Federal motor carrier laws & regulations
- Follow printed directions on delivery tickets to & from farms to insure feed is taken to correct farm
- Making sure the right house & bin on farm gets worked
- Busted hydraulic line- driver is required to fill out Spill Report Form and turn it to dispatcher on duty
- Fuel, clean, check fluid levels of truck & do daily pre/post trip inspections
- All hazards or defects are to be documented then took to truck shop for repair
- Class A commercial drivers license
- DOT medical card
