Job Summary
Bulgarian Content Moderator role based in Athens, Greece, on-site, full-time. You will review and moderate user-generated content (text, images, video, live streams) according to client guidelines and local regulations, make accurate decisions to remove, escalate, label, or approve content, log actions with rationale, and maintain audit-ready records. You’ll escalate complex cases to senior moderators, communicate trends and improvements to peers/leads, contribute to knowledge base updates, and participate in calibration and quality assurance sessions. Expect rotational shifts including evenings and weekends, and a comprehensive benefits package with training and career development in a modern office environment.
Required Qualifications
- Native Bulgarian (C2) and fluent English (B2+) for internal communication and reporting
- Strong written communication skills with ability to apply policies objectively and sensitively
- Comfortable making quick, well-reasoned decisions in a high-volume environment
- Experience in content moderation, trust & safety, community management or related roles is advantageous
- Good digital literacy and ability to learn new platforms and moderation tools quickly
- Resilience and emotional maturity when handling sensitive or disturbing content
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multicultural team and adapt to evolving policies and priorities
- High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
