Job Summary
Inspect buildings and structures to detect malfunctions and needed repairs using pre-established check sheets. Perform minor electrical, plumbing, and carpentry maintenance, including fixture replacement, leak repairs, and surface painting. Keep work areas clean and maintain tools and equipment in proper condition. Operate vehicles to transport supplies and debris, while observing safe working practices and reporting hazards. This role requires a minimum of three years in facility maintenance with hands-on experience in carpentry, electrical, and plumbing. Candidates must be available for a five-day week averaging 40 hours, with seasonal flexibility up to 50 hours and weekend coverage. Living in NGC housing on property may be required.

- Skill in the use of power and hand tools
- Ability to lift and transport up to 50 lbs on a regular and continuing basis
- Ability to push minimum of 100 lbs on an occasional basis
- Ability to drive golf carts and vehicles
- Manual dexterity to use and operate all necessary equipment, including power and hand tools
- Ability to work in varying temperatures and inclement weather
- Grasping, writing, standing, walking, vacuuming, mopping, scrubbing, repetitive motions, bending, lifting, pushing, climbing, listening and hearing ability and visual acuity
- Ability to bend, stoop, squat and stretch
- Ability to communicate effectively with members, guests, co-workers, and supervisors
- Availability to work a minimum five-day work week averaging 40 hours per week
- Willingness to work some weekends
- Flexibility in shifts
- Ability to work weeks averaging over 50 hours as needed
- Ability to work on holidays
- Willingness to live in NGC housing on property
