Buildings and Grounds Worker

Maintain school buildings and grounds in top condition to ensure full and productive use of district facilities. Operate all equipment and machinery as necessary, including electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems, while performing preventive maintenance, repair, and installation. Move equipment and materials within and between buildings, and work overtime when emergencies arise to prevent school disruptions. Act as a substitute custodian when needed and adhere to all district health and safety policies. Communicate effectively with staff, administration, and the community, and react productively to changing tasks as assigned. Work indoors and outdoors year-round in various environmental conditions, including high places and noisy areas.
