Job Summary
Maintain and repair large HVAC/R systems, including chillers, heat pumps, and ancillary equipment, across City of Pasadena facilities. Diagnose malfunctions, replace controls, wire motors, and calibrate sensors per schematics. Complete work orders, maintain preventative schedules, and inspect jobs for cleanliness and compliance. Respond to emergency calls and manage refrigerant dispensing records to meet EPA requirements. Perform general equipment maintenance and adhere to all safety policies and timekeeping rules.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Five years' experience in HVAC/R field
- EPA certification
- Texas driver's license
- Texas air conditioning and refrigeration contractor license or technician certification
