Job Summary
Conduct journeyman-level electrical work on city facilities, including building, maintaining services, and performing upgrades. Read blueprints, operate bucket trucks, and climb ladders while adhering to N.E.C. standards and city safety guidelines. Prepare time and material estimates, complete daily work order reports, and maintain all required Texas Master and Journeyman licenses. Work the assigned schedule complying with city timekeeping policies.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Two (2) years' experience in the electrical trade
- Possess a current Texas Journeyman License
- Valid Texas Driver's License
- Must have the knowledge to build and maintain electrical services
- Read and understand electrical blueprints
- Understand N.E.C. standards, (National Electrical Code)
- Able to climb ladders and perform work from heights
- Must be able to obtain and maintain, a Texas Master License
- Must have and maintain, without interruption, all necessary licenses, certifications, clearances, and/or job requirements
- Follow all city safety guidelines
