Job Summary
Install and configure server racks, including PDUs and cable management, while monitoring liquid cooling distribution units and performing leak testing. Execute preventative, corrective, and emergency maintenance on rack infrastructure and cooling systems per structured workorders. Perform 24/7 operational monitoring of CDU parameters through EPMS/BMS systems and conduct routine maintenance such as filter cleaning and fluid sampling. Maintain detailed documentation including installation records, maintenance logs, and monthly operational reports. Respond to emergency situations and troubleshoot system failures using root cause analysis methodologies. Day shift and night shift available; on-site in Spartanburg, SC.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in data center rack installation, liquid cooling systems, or critical facility maintenance
- Hands-on experience with CDU operations, coolant distribution systems, and thermal management technologies
- Knowledge of electrical safety procedures, chemical handling protocols, and fluid quality control standards
- Demonstrated ability to read and interpret technical drawings, SOPs, MOPs, and EOPs with strict adherence to procedures
- Physical ability to lift up to 80 lbs, work from heights up to 15 feet, and perform extended physical work in data center environments
- Strong attention to detail for quality assurance and compliance with procedural discipline requirements
- Working knowledge of EPMS/BMS systems, CMMS platforms, and standard computer applications
- Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with liquid cooling maintenance including leak detection systems, chemical management, and water chemistry analysis
- Knowledge of pump systems, heat exchangers, pressure testing equipment, and commissioning activities
- Familiarity with preventive maintenance scheduling, predictive analysis, and performance baselining techniques
- Certification in relevant technical areas such as mechanical systems, fluid handling, or data center operations
- Understanding of root cause analysis methodologies and continuous improvement processes
- Experience with loop pressure testing, vacuum degassing, and advanced troubleshooting tools
