Job Summary
Part-time Building Supervisor at Glenview Community Ice Center within the Glenview Park District. You will manage on-site part-time staff (including skate rental employees, skate guards, and maintenance), report performance to a full-time supervisor, perform regular ice maintenance (cutting ice, shoveling snow, changing propane tanks, and Zamboni maintenance), thoroughly clean interior spaces, set up and tear down tables and chairs for programs/events, handle seasonal assignments (snow removal, salting, ice rink maintenance), manage skate rental transactions, and assist the public with questions and incident responses. Scheduling is 10-20 hours/week with nights and weekends; pay is $19/hour without ice resurfacer experience and $21/hour with ice resurfacer experience.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Experience managing part-time staff or facilities
- Knowledge of ice arena operations
- Driving an ice resurfacer preferred
