Job Summary
Building Supervisor at the YMCA of Greater Waukesha County leads facility operations and ensures safe, smooth-running service delivery. Responsibilities include managing facility activities, providing exceptional customer service to members and staff, ensuring staffing coverage, guiding and supervising staff, responding to emergencies per safety protocols, completing incident/accident reports, and assisting with tours or laundry as directed by branch leadership. Training for First Aid and CPR is provided upon hire; role requires maintaining safety procedures and clear communication with members, guests, and staff. Close the facility in accordance with posted hours and ensure the site is secure at closing.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Previous manager on duty experience or customer service experience
- Must be able to walk, stand, bend, reach, and climb stairs for extended periods
- Must be able to obtain and maintain First Aid and CPR certifications
- Ability to relate well to diverse populations, in person and over the phone
- Sound decision making skills with minimal supervision
- Ability to uphold YMCA core values (caring, honesty, responsibility, respect) in all interactions
