Job Summary
Conduct daily building inspections of roofs, mechanical spaces, and inventory levels; manage paper, chemical, and tool supply records. Perform plumbing, electrical, heating, and ventilation repairs, including fixing leaks, stoppages, and faulty fixtures. Execute move-in and move-out room inspections, noting damage and coordinating paint and minor appliance corrections. Coordinate extermination services and maintain repair records. Provide 24-hour on-call service for maintenance emergencies. Requires own tools and five years of relevant experience.
Required Qualifications
- 5 years Building Superintendent experience
- Must have own tools
- Prior Fire Department Certificate of fitness for standpipe, sprinkler and Fire Guard
- Must take and pass the FDNY Certificates of fitness tests within 3 months for new job location
