Job Summary
Manage daily construction operations and field activities while coordinating subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers to ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, and within budget. Conduct daily site walks to verify productivity, quality, and safety compliance, enforce OSHA regulations, and lead subcontractor coordination meetings. Monitor project progress, implement corrective actions, and maintain accurate daily records of work, manpower, and site activities. Serve as the primary on-site representative to owners, architects, and engineers, addressing client concerns and managing permit inspections. This role requires a strong background in industrial, manufacturing, or energy facilities with at least five years of supervisory experience. Full-time position in Bridgeport, CT with a salary range of $130,000–$160,000.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum 5 years of commercial, institutional, or industrial construction experience
- State and federal project experience
- Minimum 3 years in a supervisory, foreman, or superintendent role
- Experience managing multiple trades and subcontractors
- Experience with both ground-up and renovation projects
- Ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously
- Thorough understanding of construction methods, materials, and building systems
- Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and construction safety practices
- Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, and contract documents
- Ability to mentor and guide up and coming Waters employees
- Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in construction management software, scheduling tools, and Microsoft Office Suite
- OSHA 30-Hour Construction Certification
- First Aid/CPR Certification
- HAZWOPER 40-Hour Certification
- LEED Accreditation (when applicable)
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Ability to walk, climb ladders, and navigate active construction sites
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds

- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field
