Job Summary
Oversee daily property operations for townhomes/apartment complex, combining Property Management, Maintenance, and Janitorial duties. Manage leasing activities (advertising, showings, applications, lease execution, renewals), enforce lease terms, collect rent, and maintain tenant records. Conduct property inspections, coordinate vendor services, assist with budgeting and reporting. Perform routine, preventative, and emergency maintenance (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, painting); manage work orders via property management software; maintain building systems and supervise repairs with contractors. Lead Janitorial and Groundskeeping for common areas, including snow removal and outdoor upkeep. Serve as after-hours on-call responder for emergencies. Uphold housing laws/regulations, ensure customer service standards, and maintain detailed documentation. Must have high school diploma or GED, own basic hand tools, a valid driver’s license, and pass a background check; available for weeknights/weekend on-call duties.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in property management, maintenance, or a related field
- High school diploma or GED
- Must provide own basic hand tools
- Valid driver's license and access to a personal vehicle
- Ability to pass a background check
- Available to manage on-call/after hours/ER phone – weeknights and weekends
