Building Substitute Teacher (SY 26-27)

Create a safe, positive, and inclusive classroom environment while delivering instructional activities aligned with established curriculum and school goals. Implement ESL strategies and scaffolding across WIDA levels to support English Language Learners, differentiating instruction to meet diverse learning styles and IEP/504 requirements. Manage student behavior to maintain safety, assess progress toward learning objectives, and maintain accurate records of attendance and documentation. Collaborate with colleagues to ensure continuity of instruction and communicate effectively with students, families, and community members. Serve as a professional role model demonstrating ethical standards while responding to emergencies. This temporary or long-term role supports the academic and social growth of 1,600 students from PreK–12 at Guadalupe Centers Charter Schools, a free, open-enrollment public charter serving the Latinx community since 1919.
