Job Summary
Review and implement regular teacher's routines, procedures, and objectives while facilitating student progress in the functional curriculum. Provide effective individualized instruction to students in the assigned classroom, including potential remote learning online. Establish and maintain a safe, orderly environment and offer direction to paraprofessional staff. Maintain regular communication with building staff and perform other duties as assigned by administration. This role requires a valid Ohio Teaching License, a clear criminal history record, and experience working with children in a school setting.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Ohio Teaching License or Certificate
- Evidence of a clear record as determined by the Bureau of Criminal Identification and Investigation (BCII) and Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI)
- Experience working with children in a school setting
- Ability to maintain a well-managed, positive learning environment
- Flexible and comfortable in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment
- Strong communication, interpersonal and computer skills
- Regular and punctual attendance
