Job Summary

Conduct facility operations through material movement, meeting room setup, waste collection, and building support activities while driving an estimated 110 miles daily. Operate powered industrial equipment using a Class A Forklift License and respond to facility issues during inclement weather, including snow and ice mitigation and emergency response. Perform routine inspections, maintenance coordination, and work at heights with appropriate safety equipment. Manage lounge and common area supplies using a company credit card and drive an estimated 110 miles per day. Work Monday through Friday from 7:30am to 3:30pm with on-call hours and overtime as needed. Adhere to safety policies, report injuries, and apply LEAN principles to eliminate waste while supporting operational initiatives.

Required Qualifications

  • Valid Driver's License
  • High school diploma, GED or equivalent
  • Experience in handling multiple computer systems, including internet based, and/or PC applications
  • Ability to perform frequent reaching and repetitive hand and wrist motions and fine motor skills
  • Ability to perform some walking, bending, stooping and heavy lifting (up to 100 pounds)
  • Class A Forklift License
  • Must be able to lift 100 pounds
  • Must be available for on-call hours
  • Must be available for overtime as needed
  • Must be able to work at heights utilizing appropriate safety equipment and procedures
  • Must be able to respond to facility-related issues during inclement weather events
  • Must be able to coordinate snow and ice mitigation efforts
  • Must be able to support emergency response activities
  • Must be able to conduct routine facility inspections
  • Must be able to assist with building maintenance projects
  • Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Must be able to demonstrate strong problem-solving skills
  • Must be adaptable
  • Must be self-motivated
  • Must be able to maintain a high level of service, safety, and operational excellence
  • Must be able to work effectively with managers, co-workers, contractors, and external service providers

  • Must be lawfully authorized to work in the United States
  • Must be able to pass the urinalysis drug screen
  • Must be able to complete Form I-9 Employment Eligibility Verification
  • Must be able to sign the Employment Agreement
  • Must be able to sign an agreement to arbitrate in connection with the Hallmark Dispute Resolution Program
  • Must be able to pass satisfactory reference and background checks
  • Must be able to drive an estimated 110 miles per day on average
  • Must be able to hold a company credit card for purchasing related to the role
  • Must be able to work Monday - Friday 7:30am - 3:30pm
  • Must be able to work in a climate-controlled manufacturing environment with normal physical injury hazards
  • Must be able to wear hearing protection if on the production floor
  • Must be able to work in Lawrence, Kansas
  • Must be able to handle the pressure of meeting deadlines
  • Must be able to deal with ambiguity in daily work
  • Must be able to handle multiple projects simultaneously
